Mass Spectrometer

Bench-top ion trap Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) system. The CTC Analytics CombiPAL combined with this instrument allows headspace and SPME experiments to be performed in addition to standard liquid sample injection. This instrument also has a Markes Unity thermal desorption unit which enables samples to be trapped on adsorbent tubes and then released by the TDU for GC-MS analysis. This instrument is being used for the analysis of fuels and for studying VOCs emitted from human skin.
